Introductions

Soda - we're selling a lot of it. 32 cents profit per can.

Micors - take them.

Antenna rotator - we'll have to replace it sometime. Probably this winter. 
     We'll have to take all of the antennas down. Neil will do it.

2m, 440, and commercial antennas sitting outside - take 'em if you want 
     'em.

Balloon launch (PolySat) - pushed back to January

ARES BBQ meeting every Tuesday night

Technician class next quarter
  - Will last about 5 weeks
  - 7pm - 9pm on Monday and Wednesday
  - 8 classes, a review, and a test
  - It will start the second week of the quarter

Some people are interested in General class, too.

Near Vertical Instance Skywave (NVIS)
  - Antenna should be about 6 inches off the ground.
  - Where to put the antenna? The roof? No. Peterson's ranch?

Dr. Dickey speaks
  - He told the story of how he was asked to joined ARES.
  - He told about his experiences with the SLO fires in 1994.
  - Showed video footage covering the 1994 fires.
