Minutes from the meeting.  I don't know when it was called to order, 
because Kirk had the NERVE to start it on time!

I. Officer's Reports
A. President
   1) ARES callout
   2) Club book
   3) Repeater
   4) Old Busines
   5) Coke manager position changes
      -Mark given a parting gift of Chia pet
      -OMS David new Coke Dude (much to the chagrin of his yl)

B. Vice President--EC minutes
   -Harlem Globetrotters at Rec Center (March 14)
   -Remedial classes won't be eliminated as of yet
   -Prop. 187 students will have to pay rates HIGHER than out-of-state 
    tuition 


C. Treasurer
   -We're broke, but not sure how much (waiting for statement from ASI)

   -Cal resigned as Assistant Manager
   -OMS plans to have report done by next meeting

   -BBQ cancelled

   -Database to be done by next mtg--give all final info to ME


II. OPEN HOUSE
    -no need to deal w/formalities
    -Not planning to have BHZ officially represented
    -shack will be opened and manned 

III. Guest Speaker---> ASI
    -Outreach publicity campaign
    -Acquaint students as to what ASI is all about

IV. Discussion from the floor
    A. HAM class date
    -February 21 starting date
    -Test March 23  $5.90 for test; $10 for class
    -accredited
    -Needs pre-registration

B. Kirk reviewing list of responsibilities people signed up for a little 
while ago
    -TRY TO GET IT DONE: THIS MEANS YOU!

C. T-shirts: David, KE6OMS, my OM
   -voting on shirt design
   -Kirk moves to have logo on "pocket" of shirt
       -Dean seconds; 2 oppose
   -Kirk moves to eliminate sleeve logo
       -5 approve; one opposes
   -Kirk moves to have "HAMS do it w/Higher Frequency" on the back
       -concern that conservative members/alum will not want to wear them
       -7 agree to motion; 3 oppose
       -motion passes
   -plan: to get some shirts plain on back, some w/motto

D. Link antenna
   -Kirk moves to allocate up to $100; UH antenna for Tass
   -unanimous approval
   -Ian moves that we allow Craig to look into annodizing, if that is 
feasible
       -unanimous approval

E. WALA project
   -Kirk moves to allocate up to $300 to get 1/2 inch heliax

F. Wheelmen
   -Ask us to help w/communication

   -DXCC certificate is missing  WE NEED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
