The last mass-minutes mailing for the year. We had a great year and I want to especially thank KD6RCT for making the meetings fun. Kirk, you should be really proud of all the club has accomplished. Thanks to the officers and other members for all their hard work. :) Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm (on time, for the first and last time of the year!) I. Introductions and Welcome -No surprises here!! II. Officer's Reports (THIS IS IT!) A. Kirk J. Smith I, President and Grand Pooh-Bah -WILDFLOWER: thanks for your hard work and all the help. Food money left over ($40 worth)...money goes to club treasury if it isn't claimed -Left over food: whipped butter goes to JTS, rest of it for Field Day, etc. -Wheelmen: The "REAL" story -They flaked and lost our support -They bad-mouthed us and lost ARES support -Summer events -Field Day, last weekend in June(23-25) -ARES check-ins -Repeater project on Tass B. Vice-President, Dean Wood (Would What?) -Children's Center referendum passedm, fees to increase soon -Health Center to be upgraded by Fall of '97 -AIDS/HIV testing -Plug for Engineering Council -Need officers!! Openings for 15-20 commissioners -PSA: get your new ID cards because they won't be accepted soon! -"Thank you to all who participated during the year" C. Secretary and talented minute-taker: TRISHA L. GINSBURG -HAMFEST Labor Day weekend at the Queen Mary, $15 -Great stuff going on! Jim Spring, head ranger, was happy. Thank you all! Field Day, last weekend in June. Going up Friday night $8-$10 for meals. Staying through Sunday. -Needs to know if roads are penetrable, if outhouses are there/ operable (if not, can we rent them?) -Heather says DO NOT BUY ALCOHOL!! -15 or so people tentatively interested -ALL DONE!!!!!!!
