---As transcribed by Rick Gilligan (N6NL)--- CPARC Meeting Minutes for 01 Apr 99 by N6NL President - Out interviewing. Meeting conducted by KF6DMI, Josh Hill. KC6QOQ wanted us to start planning for Field Day. Pretty unanimous that we won't do anything until the 3rd of May. VP - Sleeping. Pulse status unknown. Secretary: No Report. Treasurer: If you haven't paid Tami for membership yet, it's only $5.00 until the end of the school season. Shack Manager: There's a couple boxes of crap in the shack that KK6DJ thought someone might be interested in. Check with KE6OMS if you want any of it before the next meeting, after which it will be pitched. Repeater Manager: Nothing from N6NL. No changes until at least the 3rd of May. ARES/RACES: Nothing to report. Coke/Anti-Foundation Manager: Machine is jamming, even on bills. It's empty, but not for long. Everyone else is missing. Old Business: The Saturday First Aid course is nearly full. The other days have very few signups, so Pauleen may cancel the other sessions. Wildflower: Everything going well. An extensive status report was given. KQ6BX will arrange for the tower for Wildflower. We will be working on the repeater equipment this weekend, getting it ready. The major installation is on the 10th and 11th of April. The commercial repeaters will be available around the 12th for pick-up in the Bay Area. Perhaps someone coming to Open Shack can bring them down. If so, we may install them on the Sunday after Open Shack. We received a donation of $225 from TriCalifornia. We purchased two Astron switching power supplies (15 A continuous), one with a Motorola GM300 hood on it. They will also donate up to another $275. We purchased three Diamond X-50NA 144/440 MHz base station antennas and will submit it to TriCalifornia. Special thanks to them for assisting with equipment we will use at events. We won't have to sweat out waiting for antennas to come down from the Bay Area each year, and will also have them available for events. Open House: It's going to just be an Open Shack, given how busy everyone is. We'll be having a Saturday evening T Hunt, as is traditional. No one remembers who won last year. That person had better pipe up if they want to be the rabbit, otherwise, we will find someone. We'll have the usual pre-Hunt BBQ at Cuesta Park in the late afternoon on Saturday. KF6DMI will arrange the Q. Wildflower Century: We still need people the weekend before the Triathlon. Some people may be available at the last minute if the Triathlon installation stuff goes well. New business: None. Meeting adjourned. end
